I Don’t Feel Good Enough

Imagine being 70.

All of a sudden you remember…

How you missed that life-changing trip to Kauai with your girlfriends.

How you never wrote that book or started that business.

How you never laughed so hard until your stomach hurt with those new friends you met at that meet up group event.

How you never got to say I love you to the partner you would have started dating because you said hi at the coffee shop.

All because you were always waiting for when you felt good enough.

Oof. That’s a tough vision to carry.

It might feel easier right now to say no to that trip because you’re afraid of being in a bathing suit.

Pushing that book or business idea to the side because you’re afraid you’re not skilled enough or don’t know enough.

Skipping out on that meet up event because you’re afraid you won’t seem interesting enough or that you will stumble over your words in conversation.

Avoiding eye contact with that sweet person you feel drawn to at the coffee shop because you don’t feel attractive enough.

But it certainly won’t feel easier to swallow that pill when you’re 70 looking back on your life.

So maybe, just maybe, you can take that chance.

And know and love yourself so deeply that no matter what happens, you’re always enough.

And that by knowing and believing that, you can create a life you dream of, rather than sitting on the sidelines watching all of those chances and opportunities for fun, love, connection and joy just pass you by.

Don’t waste your time missing out.

You only have so much of it ❤️
